Gift Card Policy - One Year Validity
- Validity Period: All issued gift cards are valid for a period of one year from the date of purchase. After this period, the gift card will expire and can no longer be used to make purchases.
- Usage and Redemption: During the one-year validity period, gift cards can be used for purchases in our stores or on our website, depending on the terms and conditions of the specific gift card.
- No Returns or Refunds: After the expiration of the validity period, any remaining balance on the gift card is non-refundable and will be forfeited. No refunds will be given for unused balances.
- Balance Check: Customers can check the remaining balance of their gift card at any time via our website or in-store.
- Extension or Reissue: Gift cards cannot be extended or reissued after the expiration of the validity period.
- Exceptions: In some cases, such as legal requirements or promotional activities, exceptions to the standard validity period may be made. This will be clearly stated on the gift card or in the associated terms and conditions.
- The date of issue or expiry date does not have to be stated on the gift card itself, as long as the validity period is clear to all parties and all means (proof of purchase) are available to the customer. The proof of purchase serves to determine the start and end point of that validity period. This means that the consumer must keep the proof of purchase, together with the gift card.
